 Write Quality Control manuals to ASME Section VIII, CSA B51 (for manufacture of pressure containing equipment), CSA 52 (For installation of new air conditioning & refrigeration systems and also for servicing, repair of existing systems), NBIC for repairs and alterations of pressure retaining equipment, ISO 9001, CSA Z299, ASME Section III & NQA-1 (nuclear) CSA N285 (nuclear), CSA B 620 (highway tanks for hauling hazardous materials), CSA B 339 (high pressure cylinder manufacture)
• Obtain the requisite licenses for the facilities to manufacture the applicable products
• Periodic inspection of highway tanks and portable tanks as required by the TDG regulations or US-DOT regulations
• Third party inspection services for pressure vessels, boilers, cryogenic vessels, high pressure cylinders, steel structures, aluminum structures as per the applicable Codes and Standards where the manufacturers require pre-inspection before presenting to TSSA for A.I. inspection
• Develop and maintain the documentation as mandated by the applicable Codes and Standards
• Review and organize the calibration records of the instruments and gages as required by the applicable Codes and Standards
• Guide and prepare the management of facilities for facing the audits performed by the certifying agencies such as, the ASME, the National Board, AWS, TSSA, CWB, ISO Registrars, etc. This includes the demonstration of the application of system to these agencies either through mock-up or on-the job
• Train the personnel of the facilities at various levels in quality systems, maintenance and performance
• Apply possible methods to economically achieve the best quality of the product
